[SOLVED][RMMV 1.3.5] Playtest works fine, but exporting the project doesn't!

Ok so I was so happy for finishing my project, so having problem right know sure is just awful:hsad:

Even changing the platform, excluding unused files and encrypting doesn't seem to work (in any combination).

I'm sorry I can't give more info I just have no idea which are relevant and which are not (I can send the directory if someone needs to test theirself). Edit: even exporting a new project is impossible (I just added some DLC to the NewData folder so I don't think that's important)!

Try it without the exclude unused files option checked. If you have any plug-ins and they use files, more times than not they will not be detected and they will be accidentally excluded.

Unfortunately, this is very hard to fix for the plug-in writers, as Yanfly learned. They wrote a long post saying why they will not be able to fix it so that their plug-ins work with that checked (short version is you lose a lot of flexibility in file names and where you can store them), so best thing is to *never* use that for final deployment, and instead remove manually all files you don't use.

Your post says you checked exclude unused files. Try it without doing that. The new project + DLC proves nothing as it has to be a pure new project for it to be an issue (as in NO DLC).

Also, your pictures are not showing. Be sure to use a true image hosting site, so we can see them.

Sorry my bad with "even" I meant both checking "exclude unused files" and not.
For now I'll do a clean installation and see what happens.

Ok. Also can you fix the images too? We are going to have a hard time bug fixing anything if those are not showing.

Ok. that is something else after all. If I had to venture a guess, it is because the name of the directory and therefore file name is an illegal file name for the OS to recognize, so it is failing for that reason. Try deploying to another directory, and make sure the project name has no illegal characters for networks (symbols tend to not work well, for instance, so drop the ! from the directory name).

Oh my gosh that worked! Thank you! I had no idea about that since that wasn't written anywhere!

Wait now there's the blank screen problem and it shouldn't be about drivers since in the playtest it still works.:hswt:

That's going to be something else probably. Can you post a picture of your console (F8)? Or does that even show up?

And also, next time can you edit your previous post instead of posting 2x? Using the @ symbol tends to work better for that reason too (plus the page is faster to load for mobile users).

Sorry I won't post 2x again.
Anyway I tried exporting again and this time it displays the error code but also does its work (game.exe is still blank). I had no idea the console could be used with exported projects, too, but it doesn't even show up.
I'll try with NewData without ! this time.
Edit: NewData works perfectly this time so i'll just try substituting from my project's to NewData's one and I'll see how it goes...
