I'm trying to make a state where a character goes into a trance and starts casting the same buffing skill every turn. The catch is that the "Auto Battle" special flag won't use a skill unless it 1) targets enemies AND 2) causes damage.

I can get everything to work except for casting the skill on allies while auto battling. I have a "Battle Chant" skill which buffs & heals all allies & places the user in a "Chanting" state; I have a duplicate of "Battle Chant" called "Chanting" that costs nothing & isn't classified; and I have the aforementioned "Chanting" state which grants the actor the "Chanting" skill, disables all other skills, & engages "Auto Battle". I can get the state to cast the "Chanting" skill if I set the skill to target enemies & cause at least 1 damage, but I can't get it to work when the skill targets allies.
And yes, I did try setting the database to target "1 Enemy" while using Yanfy's Target Core to target all allies. It acted the same as if I set it to target allies in the database.

What I really need is someone who knows their way around Lunatic Mode to show me how to accomplish this, if it is even possible. By that I mean that I need some Lunatic Mode code that will force the actor to use a specific skill every turn; that shouldn't be too hard, seeing as how something like it can be accomplished using a regular event command.

Let me know if you need any more details.

I'm not certain, but I think you're overcomplicating things a bit. Yanfly's Passive Aura Effects can do a lot of this, I think. First, create a chanting state, which applies to the user. Then link that state to a second state using an aura effect. The first state should restrict the user's movement so that it can't act as long as the state remains. The second state should heal and buff allies, and will remain as long as the first state is active. If I understand what you're going for, this should create the effect without having to use Auto Battle at all.

I never would have thought of that. I haven't even used YEP Passive Aura Effects before. I knew of it, but I didn't have any desire to put auras in my games... yet.

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
