[Solved] Showing a balloon on a specific actor rather then the player?

Basically this...

$gameActors.requestBaloon()

Which I thought would work. But does not, it only works for $gameEvent and $gamePlayer.
But I wish to show the balloon on a specific actor in the party. Which is neither of those.
Is this possible?

Looks like anything that extends Game_CharacterBase can call requestBalloon, passing in the Id of the balloon you want.

You could do it on one of your followers by referencing:

$gamePlayer._followers._data[x].requestBalloon(y);

where x is the follower index you want to reference and y is the balloon Id.
