Excuse the noob question, but are tilesets transferrable between different projects I make? If I imported some custom tilesets for game A and later on while making game B I wanna import the same custom tilesets, will I have to set it up and change the setting (passages, etc) all over again? Is there no way to save these tilesets to the system itself so that they're available to every new project on my computer?

Alright, I tested it, and it looks like you can just right-click, copy and paste, a tileset from one game to another in the DB. Assuming the resources are all there.

Copy n paste works even in different projects? Because I thought pasting won't work if I would have to close the current project and open a new one.

It seems to work fine.
Also, it's possible to have more than one project open, you just need to go into the individual game folders. But it shouldn't necessary.

I should make it clearer @pawsplay what I meant is not copying the actual tileset files between the game's folders, but the tileset settings (passage/counter/ladder/bush). If I set those settings up for a custom tileset in game A, can I transfer them to a game B and retains those settings?

I have a feeling just copying the files between game folders wouldn't work.

pawsplay's solution should work inside the same game engine (so like RMMV to RMMV project). If you move between MV and MZ, it might not work, but you can always just copy the json file data over and it should work.

I haven't tried it, but I suspect you can copy over /data/Tilesets.json and get all the tilesets from another project.

I hate driving in games. Imagine your character profile being an exceptional individual, yet when they drive, it makes them look dumb.

My Game Jam entry is a bunch of mini games wrapped within an epic story that will rival the deepest plots of the earliest CRPGs! As a small spoiler, here is one example of a game you will be able to play. Anyone want to try Brat, Krampus, Santa?
so I had two plugin that essentially overwrite each other depending on where they are in the list. so I had to edit what was overwriting one into the other and now they both work. I REALLY need to sit down and just learn JavaScript. I hate that I know just enough to know I don't know NEARLY enough lol.
