<Solved> Yanfly Event Spawner How-to

Greetings!

I downloaded Yanfly's "Event Spawner" plugin and set to work trying to get the system implemented, but it just doesn't seem to be working.

My current plan is to spawn the first event from map 10 into the tile with the co-ordinates 25, 27 on another map. Here's what I've got so far:

You can probably tell that I don't really know what I'm doing with the more code heavy aspects of game development; I don't know what half of this stuff does, if it's doing anything at all.

Additionally, I would like to spawn events based on region, but we'll cross that bridge when we come to it.

Additional Info:
Map 10 is called "Spawn template storage map". It currently only has the one event, which itself is called "Goblin Merchant 1". The location I am trying to spawn them to is not occupied by an event. "Goblin Merchant 1" currently has a placeholder icon that would allow me to tell if it has spawned. I do not know how up to date my version of MV is.

Any help at all would be greatly appreciated! Thanks for reading!

The bolded part might be your problem. The plugin says that you MUST have a event present at the place you are trying to spawn it.

It does?

Because I just copied a section of it directly and this is what it says:

Spawning Limitations

--------------------



However, there are some rules that must be applied before an event can be

spawned at a desired location. They are as follows:



1. The spawn location must not be occupied by another event, even if the

event is of a different priority level. This is to prevent overstacking

and causing problems for the RPG Maker MV engine."

Ah sorry about that, I misread that part. Ok are you placing the script call in the script section of the event tab?

Hey bud, no problem, we all make mistakes! :)
Also, sorry, but I'm not sure I follow. Please define "script call", and clarify where the "event tab" is. (I'm kind of a dunce when it comes to terminology :blush:)

Edit: I figured it out on my own! Turns out I was just being a dummy!

Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
