Some help in creating a Quiz Battle System

My only question is how I would go about setting this up as a random encounter. You set up the program to run via menu select screen.
Random encounters can be set up in the map properties. Find the map in the list (bottom-left, under the tile palette), right-click, and choose Edit. In the window that appears, you can:
  • Adjust the Enc. Steps value - higher value means less frequent random encounters.
  • Add troops to the Encounters list on the right - double-click an empty row and choose a troop! You can also:
    • Restrict troops to specific regions, or allow them to appear all over the map;
    • Assign different "weights" to different troops: if you give a troop weight 4, then when an encounter happens that troop is 4 times more likely to be picked than a troop with weight 1, 2 times more likely than weight 2, etc.
I've actually used the random encounter list in that little demo project to set up the "Random" battle choice, using Battle Processing > Same as Random Encounter. The only reason you don't see it in action the normal way is because you don't get a chance to walk around~ :kaothx:

Hey everyone how is it going! I've been slowly chipping away at this and just wanted to give an update. I learned that when you are running multiple tabs in an event page it will run the highest # tab first and move backwards. I dont know if that is true for Battle Events but I am going to assume it is. Hope everyone is same and remember to wash your hands!

Map events can only have one page active at a time. Like you say, pages are checked in descending order and the first one with its conditions met becomes active. (If no page's conditions are met then the event will not appear.)

Troop events are different: all pages are valid for running. Pages are checked in ascending order (1, 2, 3) and any whose conditions are met will run. :)

Hello!
I see it's been about a year since any updates on this thread, but I recently got the idea in my head to make a similar game for vocabulary learning (mostly for myself). I was wondering, in order to make the questions AND the supplied answer choices random, would it be best to do like Caethyril said and use control variables to give the player several incorrect choices? I'm new to RPG Maker and have zero understanding of coding, but I understand the gist of the RPG Maker system. Just confused on how to make the supplied choices random while including the correct answer.

Whelp, it's been a while. Had another retina surgery on april 1st on my left eye. Well, 4 time's the charm, right? *recovery mode on*
The next JABS update will include ally AI and an aggro system.

Question:
What would YOU expect to happen if you had four+ party members in an ABS, all fighting either together or separately or a mix of the two, and the player hits "swap leader" button?
It currently pulls all followers to the player's location, removes all aggro towards enemies, and swaps them.
Time to wear a new face again...

Should keep things interesting huh? @EpicFILE :p
