TRAILER:
Saul, the energetic Purgatory border force agent is faced with a troubling dilemma, citizens are disappearing and illegals from hell are increasing. He then makes a startling discovery that will jeopardize the salvation of all the people of purgatory, including his own.
Purgatory is a place, where a citizen has to perform a specific task to get eternal salvation. Unfortunately, the citizen has no clue of what the task is, some even don’t care about eternal salvation, they just go by their everyday life enjoying the fine life that purgatory offers.
Purgatory closest neighbor, Hell is a place where the Red’s live. Red’s unlike the citizens in purgatory believe that they lived a life before, committed a terrible crime, and are cursed by everlasting guilt. They often come to Purgatory to find jobs, not for the money, but to at least forget the curse, even for a short period of time.
Saul – A Purgatory Border Force Agent. Energetic and patriotic, Saul is dedicated in catching all illegals from Hell and deporting them back.
Linus – Saul’s right hand partner, although a newbie in the force, Linus is a force to reckon with. He believes that the mafia is involved in the influx of illegals from Hell, and does his own undercover work to thwart the people involved in the trade.
Iris – The multi-millionaire who lives in Cloud Hills, the most expensive village in Purgatory. She runs a home shelter for runaway children.
The Asterisk - A serial killer in Greece, who chops victim’s arms and legs, arranges them to form the asterisk sign in the crime scene.
Like “Womb,” Soul Sleepers has a deep story, deeper (I dare to say) than my previous title. Gameplay wise it will have more RPG mechanics, one of which is your main character to be able to see the last “5 minutes” of a person’s life, and from there try to solve the mystery of why he or she is in Purgatory.
