Is there a way to have a specific enemy take zero damage from all weapons and skills except for one weapon/skill that deals a specific amount of damage every time? For example, a vampire enemy with a max hp of 20. All weapons/skills would do zero damage, but a holy sword (or something) would do 5 damage every time.

@ICF-Soft Out of curiosity, does your element absorption still function? And do you know if it's compatible with Yanfly's scripts?

I am pretty sure "absorption" does work almost same as function as Treeguy wants.
Only except how much amount of damage should non-absorbed one dealt. He gave a tiny HP, like all attack hits equal one or five per hits...

But that would be nice for me to learn how to do that one, by using absorption which negate all but one like that. =)

Or, instead of installing a plugin, the player could use the elemental rates of the default engine. This will do almost everything he asked for.

Just give the vampire elemental rate 0% for anything beside the "holy sword element", and no other weapon or skill will ever do any damage.

The only tricky part is fixing the damage amount then.
If you want to do the sword an exact amound of damage however, you either need to be tricky on the attack skill (checking which weapon is used and switching to a fixed damage) or use a plugin for weapon based attack skills.

No offense, Mr. Mod Andar, but if you would give that sword "Holy Sword Element"-element, it won't recongize the true element called "Holy" if it's not the only holy-elemental weapon. In other word, it will dealt a NORMAL damage to any exploit-weakness-holy enemies. Sure, give it a "dual element" but I am sure It may not work this way unless Yanfly's "Element Core" plugin that it will check the best result to choose between two or more elements. If it check one element's "preview" damage be low than other, it will choose the other element as the final... or otherwise it will choose that element instead the other one(s).

Holy is a primary elemental while "Holy Sword Element" is not.
But hey, I just got a thought as I am writing right here (yes, I really mean THIS line, not the whole post)... Why not keep it as primary holy element while add Holy Sword Element as Andar suggested but let all but the enemy you want it be damage-able receive a new trait - "Holy Sword Element: 0%" while set 100% on the specific enemy you want...? Sorry, I mostly use plugins Yanfly got, just for the easy way to control than without... Sorry if I get the whole post completely wrong (or right but off-tracked either). =(

Todays Lesson: Tiles are a pain to make xD
The game is not even 2% complete, but i just wanted to release something for funsies. :)

It would be awesome if i could get a couple ideas and the like!
So yesterday Dad took me to Volcano Bay, and it was almost ruined by a thunderstorm... then it passed by and the lightning warning got lifted, leading to an awesome time sliding and swimming. Hopefully we get to go to the arcade tonight. The one we're planning on has a restaurant built in with AWESOME food. Not to mention how big the arcade itself is!
