    Author's Notes:

    I wanted to make this simple, an easy way to change the default speeds in your game. But then I got a crazy idea of making agility affect how movement speed works and decided to make it so that the dev has a bit more control over it. Let me know if you'd like to see any other additions, and what you think about how agility affects movement speed right now. It is experimental, so I might completely change it a few times until it works right. Or not, who knows xD

    Do decimals work or if l input 4.5 it goes to 5 instead?

    Notetags on equipment that increase movement would be nice.

    @Fisherolol - If I'm not wrong, decimals should work properly.

    I actually have equipment notetags planned, I just need to figure out how to access notetags and make it work. I'll try my best to add that feature when I figure it out. :)

    If you could add equipment note tags that would be amazing, I can get rid of the parallel processes to check for them!

    @Karberus
    Have you had any luck figuring out the note tag issue? :)

    It's not a terribly big issue if you haven't, it would just cut down on a parallel process running to check if a player has an accessory worn (speed gem) that doubles movement speed while worn. ^_^

    Thank you for making this!

    Hi Karberus, I really enjoy this plugin however I have discovered a rather detrimental bug. If I have a custom movement speed set for the player, then have them enter a vehicle, when they exit the vehicle it appears as though the player move speed gets reset back to the default value with no way of getting it back to the custom value without starting anew. Hope you can take a look into this as I feel movement is far too fast by default and have been using this to slow things down. Only just now did I discover this bug. I tried testing it with all 3 vehicles and in a project with only this plugin installed and the issue reproducible each time.

    Thanks.

    I know this is SUPER late, and not my post. But, for anyone else who has a similar conundrum:

    The above link should help a lot with that specific problem.

    Hello Karberus. This plugin is exactly what I needed! I was wondering if there was a to change the speed through a script.

    I looked through the code and tried calling this into a script command:
    Karberus.SpeedManager.MoveSpeed = Number(x);
    Where x equals the value I need.

    Unfortunately it didnt work.
    Is there a way to change it with a script or plugin command?
    Thanks in advance

    v1.1 seems to have no effect on the vehicles for me. I'm not using any other plugins for the boat, which is quite slow.
    I just want to bump it up to a 5 or 6. Does it matter where in the list this Plugin goes?
    EDIT: Once I renamed the plugin to "Speed Manager" (needed a space) it started doing something. Well kind of, I can't move my character at all. Must be a conflict with another plugin. Oh well, if anyone knows how to adjust the boat speed via a script, that would work to.
