If you want easy and flexible Spike Traps in your RPG just take a look at the Workshop Project.

Description from Steam Workshop page:

Most RPG Dungeons got Spike traps for different purposes.
I wanted Spikes which push the Player back if he runs against them,
and which let em Jump, if he stands on the Spikes.
I Tested many possible Ways to archieve Spikes, this one is the best
in terms of use for me and the one without Bugs.

So called Features:
- 7 different Spike Types
- Tested with 250 Spike Events
- Uses only 1 Paralell Event (Ok all 250 are paralell for 1Frame, but after that its just 1 and that is what counts)
- Easy changeable Spike Speed and Interval with the other Spike Types
- Just copy paste the Spike Type Event of your choice, and its done.
- Standing on Spikes makes you jump.
- Running into Spikes makes you go back (Not working properly yet if direction Fix is on)
- Seemingly Bugfree
- A few Comments in the Events (If needed maybe a more detailed Tutorial follows)

He mad, but he cute :kaopride:

Our latest feature is an interview with... me?!

People4_2 (Capelet off and on) added!

Just beat the last of us 2 last night and starting jedi: fallen order right now, both use unreal engine & when I say i knew 80% of jedi's buttons right away because they were the same buttons as TLOU2 its ridiculous, even the same narrow hallway crawl and barely-made-it jump they do. Unreal Engine is just big budget RPG Maker the way they make games nearly identical at its core lol.
Can someone recommend some fun story-heavy RPGs to me? Coming up with good gameplay is a nightmare! I was thinking of making some gameplay platforming-based, but that doesn't work well in RPG form*. I also was thinking of removing battles, but that would be too much like OneShot. I don't even know how to make good puzzles!
