Ooh another sale, how exciting!  :D

(Really awesome and exciting graphics pack you say? Well I can't resist trying to get that.)

If I had to pick one particular piece it would be the CF Horror - 01, I can just see myself using it for a particular scene in my game when my main character is having a rather intense nightmare in which all of his friends, at the time die, and he is visited by an angel warning him of future events.

Those other pieces were fairly good as well, and assuming I don't need to spend my paycheck elsewhere I might just get these.

Wow! That is SUPER cheap (and if that's 50% off the normal price, THAT is super cheap too!)

I'm not entering for a giveaway, but I LOVE that dungeon theme in the sample! I'd use it in an alchemist's house, where I can imagine a big table with odds and ends scattered about, notes written in a book in ink, dried herbs lying around or hanging on the walls, and shelves of old books, gathering dust. A bit dark and musty, with rays of light filtering in through the cracks in the walls.

I also loved the dungeon music, but I wouldn't use it on a dungeon.

I think I would use it on a cutscene, something about a character sneaking somewhere, hiding everytime someone shows up and slowly progressing towards the place. I'd synchronize the character movement with the music, so it would only move at a certain part of the music (I don't know how to describe which part it is, but it's the part that stands out from the rest)

Edit: I first thought about an enemy fortress, but I guess it would suit it better if the character was a kid sneaking out of school.

I'll work on an screenshot

The dungeon track, but like Hudell I wouldn't use it on a dungeon.

The track would fit pretty nicely with a ghost town, the player meets (or in the case of my side project lives in). You know it's a bit eerily, but still has something pleasant. :)

Just when I'm working on a tavern, the Singing Stein, with a stage for entertainers (although lacking lately), I get to listen to the Town theme.
That'd fit my scene all right, I think.

And yes, there's a reason for the little girl to be there.

The dungeon theme, but not in a dungeon per se. In this place where the source of water is for the entire continent.

A magical, yet somewhat eerie place. Not helped by the strange person eyeing up the crystal housed in this cave.

Nice giveaway.

I have a question. Which style is this bonus graphic pack? DS or RTP or something different?

I don't know why, but the battle theme made me think of a battle at sea!

Also I needed an excuse to use the ship tiles from RMDS+ since they are so awesome.

My favorite is the battle theme! I would use it in a mid-boss fight.

Awesome sauce! I can't wait for Vol 2! These are the best themes i have heard to date for RPG Maker VX Ace.

Then again they were made in japan as i recall, and i tend to like the way music is made in japan more than in the west.

Here's what I got from listening to the dungeon track (or at least one of the ideas):

A mystical library scene (though not really in a dungeon-esque sense)

credits (if anyone cares):

Tilesets

Cellanna's tiles (both parallax and regular)

Evil Castle Tiles (wall, stairs, and pentagram)

Futuristic Tiles (book in front of librarian)

Samurai Resource Pack (table)

character not from RTP:

Frontier Works Futuristic Hero

Katakura Hibiki Dark Hero and Fantasy Hero

Most likely RTP or DS, depending on what inspires our amazing artists. I will try to see if I can post a more definite answer or a sneak peek before the sale is over. :)

I would use the Dungeon theme for this Ice Castle dungeon of mine.

It somehow has the mysterious and mystical vibe that suits the dungeon.

CF Horror 1

Works great for a specific scene for my Town of illustive Episode 2 Game

IMAGE BELOW - SPOILER ALERT! for Episode 2

MAP recopied from Town of illustive 1, Reused for second game.

This is the point where I temporary stopped the development of the game.

Maybe I will start working on the project if I win.

I choose the Event track. It really spoke to me, especially that dramatic opening, perfect for a cutscene. It immediately inspired me to the following screenshot:

Heavy parallax, I think, I only did the water in the editor. I did the lighting in photoshop, too tired to work it in light and shadow maps right now.

Thanks for this mini-challenge, it was really inspiring!
