having a look at some youtube videos and i found a video that looks as if the side view battlers are using more then 3 frames, per animation, is there a plug in for this? or stock standard i cant seem to find anything about making more advanced animations other then for effect animations, (not looking for things likes spells, looking for character walking or battling animations,)

as far as i know from when i was using rmmv b4 the spites are limited to 3 frames per animation, just wanted to ask to make sure

thank you, ill try it out,
i cant find any info on it though, do you know where i can find some info, like if it needs any master scripts? or rather engines
Yep, there is not much info about example use of this plugin properly.

All you need to do is edit the plugin parameter accordingly to your need, and insert these into your Actor notetag (This is just example from my game):

<Sideview Actor: [filename]>
<Sideview Actor Size: 192, 128>

<Sideview Actor Motion>
Name: wait
Index: 0
Loop
Frames: 4
Speed: 12
</Sideview Actor Motion>

<Sideview Actor Motion>
Name: walk
Index: 1
Loop
Frames: 1
Speed: 12
</Sideview Actor Motion>

<Sideview Actor Motion>
Name: swing
Index: 2
Loop
Frames: 4
Speed: 12
</Sideview Actor Motion>

<Sideview Actor Motion>
Name: evade
Index: 3
Loop
Frames: 1
Speed: 12
</Sideview Actor Motion>

The number of notetag depend on how much motion do you want.
Lastly, you need to adjust your spritesheet (look at the attachment). In case you don't what index is, its the number of row in spritesheet which motion you're referring to (being the top one index is 0, and so on).

thanks for that, i make my own sprites so getting them is no issue, (open toonz is great for making sprite sheets though they need to be resized after the way i do it)

 …I think I might need to switch from standard ATK/DEF up/down buffs to parameter altering states. I just had an actor whose usual attack against an enemy does ~25 do a buffed attack against a debuffed enemy for ~600…
just saw that titan quest is free on steam until the 23rd
Zombie status is now complete. I didn't have to do much in the way of changing how healing is applied to undead targets, was just a simple 3 line code. I thought I had to overhaul Game_Action lol. Everything else was doable by events. So.. Zombie: You turn undead. Your element changes to darkness. You're weak to light, you're strong to physical attacks and healing hurts you and revival items will kill you.
My Overworld might be a mix of inspiration from 2D Final Fantasy games, Breath of Fire, Battlechasers: Nightwar, Super Mario World, and Pillars of Eternity. If I can make it more in-depth than just walking from point A to point B, that might do a lot for the gameplay experience. Hmm...
