Sprite changes into another sprite when I talk to it.

I made an event that has a character graphic to talk to. There are two event pages with the same character graphic. but when i test the game and talk to him, he changes into another character. I did not do that. How do i fix this? It sometimes does this with different characters to.

It may be possible that the sprite sheet you're using has multiple characters per direction. If that is so then turn on direction fix and the problem should be fixed!

@Alien9000 'Tech Support' is for when you cannot get the engine itself to run for some reason.

I need to move this to the Support forum for the engine you are using, but unfortunately the info under your avatar doesn't tell us which it is. Please post and clarify which engine it is.
