Sprite design for a drone

One of my characters is a drone. My game is based on a world where magic and technology are fighting each other; therefore, I'm looking for a drone that looks somewhat like this If any of you have a possible sprite design please direct me in the correct direction. I will also need direction on how to implement the sprite design in the game itself.

this is an early template:standby mode and flying mode , it took a dozen of minutes to finish this, just tell me if this fit your expectation, if you want a bigger version, then this can't be a character in rpg maker unless you do not modify the size of characters.
this is 48px, standard for rpg maker MV.

48 pixels sounds since I'm using rpg maker mv and I don't know how to use anything else. This is good, but I am wondering what it will look like when he enters a battle.

The flying mode is good because my main character will use the drone to explore the map and remove obstacles.

Movement is not necessary since is game is inspired by old school rpgs. There should only be movment when he attacks from his plasm cannon. The drone is weaponized so I searched on google and this is the best I could find. Instead of a camera there is a weapon but its smaller in relation to the body of the drone.

So I assume is a sideview, for the plasma cannon I'll try my best since there are only few pixel of space(i think the cannon will be around 3 px wide max, in proportion)

I think the first one is more clear.

I don't think there is enough space for the cannon. Sorry. What if my party moves up? Will there be a rear view? This is my first time doing something like this so I'll have alot of questions. Will I just copy and paste these images and put them in the software. The side view is good too.

we could assume that the beam exit from the black spot of the drone, so there's a need to make an external cannon, so you like the sideview but all without cannon? i will adjust that.
for the configuration of the character i will help you, i will pack the sprites and you will insert in right folder and that's all.
I'm making a rear view too.

Yeah I downloaded it. So when Airloft (The drones name begins flying around will I switch to a different animation set and create a new character. I tried to make him move with the static animation set but he just disappears lol.

yeah cause the static animation set is empty, I mean it's made to be "static" so does not have animation pictures, only static ones selected by hand.

for different drones or effects I inserted various colors to use , dark blue as night for example.
it's all in the first animation pictures.
