Does anyone know how to make it possible for a sprite on the map to appear over the dialogue message? By default a sprite on the map appears under the dialogue window message.

I've been looking through the js files to try and solve this and it doesn't seem that RPG Maker MV uses z layers to manipulate sprite layer priority here.

I've also looked for some plugin solutions but none are what I'm after. The closest is Galv's Message Busts as that gives the option for graphics appearing in front of the message window, just like I'm looking for. However, I'm not using busts, so it doesn't work in my case. It's the event map sprites in particular I want to appear in front of the message window.

I'm hoping there's an easy solution for this as with my game's style, the default of them appearing behind the message window doesn't work. Would super appreciate anyone who can help!

another way what is possible, and galv should be able too do that,
is to use this plugin [CT_bolt Background Image], it might be a bit complex
to use, but it should work, there was an even more example I think.

but you need to play around with it.

I've moved this thread to Plugin Requests. Thank you.
