Hi guys! I've been making a game, and in it there are multiple outfits you can put on. But for some odd reason when your in an alternate outfit and different sprite sheet and change any equipment it returns my character to the default sprite sheet and outfit. This really puzzles me and I am not sure how to fix it. Any suggestions how to prevent this would be appreciated thanks :)

I am using a lot of Yanfly engine stuff but nothing specific for changing outfits/sprites so not sure if the problem lies there.

How are you changing the sprite when you change outfits?

I have a closet where you go to change a sprite, when you select an outfit once it's unlocked it uses change change actor graphic and puts a switch for that outfit on so appropriate sprite changes happen for scenes and such.

Do you have any change image commands linked to your equipment via a common event? They would override whatever look you chose yourself when that outfit was put on. I have done stuff like this in games and it is really cool but can be complicated due to various game events that may be set to change the actor image. If those events are not programed to deal with the variations of outfits then they will put you back in the default ones. One solution is to make a variable number represent each outfit and when an event that changes your actor image comes along then use a conditional branch so if outfit = 1 then change actor image to X...if outfit = 2 then change actor image to Y. Hope this helps?

Are you using a plugin for the changing of equipment?

Actually yes, turns out I had a script I never used buried in the pile that was the cause of the problem. Seems to be working just fine now with it removed ^_^

Hello! I would like to know if there are any pluggings or any way to customize how battles look?
I was thinking that when you start the battle for it to appear the eyes of your characters and opponents sorta like Ace Attorney.
Sadly I don't know how that would be possible so I would be needing help! If you can help me in any way I would really apreciate it!
