Sprite Visual Bug

Hello all,

In this video I'm going to show you a visual bug I'm getting when I play-test my game. After watching over the video, it appears its pulling from my character sprites sheet and displaying them on screen for a couple frames. Please disregard me saying it was screen tear in the video. After attempting to resolve the issue, I noticed if I changed the games resolution to 640x480 it would go away, however any resolution above that (altered by a YanFly plug-in) causes the sprite visual bug to appear. If anybody has any feedback on how to fix this, I would greatly appreciate it.

Please give us a screenshot of your plugin manager (or several if the list is longer), this can only be cause by a plugin that changes movement.

I had an idea of what it might be at work last night, and I just found out what the problem was. So whenever you set multiple events with images already set and you attempt to make them all appear at once, it has to pull the sprites from the spritesheet, and if the spritesheet is large enough it might have a frame or two of lag. It cut the spritesheet up to show only the little purple guys and tested it about 10 times with the new spritesheet, the visual bug didn't happen on 1280x720 or 1920x1080.

Now I can go back to making my game :)
