Ive tried almost everything to try to get the right proportions for my sprite sheets and adding a $ sign in front of the names of them, whenever I use the sheets in game it always cuts off a bit of the sprite and making them cut off and unusable
Does anyone have a solution?

So, first and foremost, that's not a spritesheet, but a tileset formatted for RPG Maker XP. Basically, you can't use these as is in your MV game. You need to resize them (as XP uses a 32x32 grid, while MV uses a 48x48 grid) and then you need reformat them (as XP had a set width, but unlimited length type of sheets, while MV has a strict 768x768 format)

Also, putting a $ in front of the name does absolutely nothing with tilesheets.

If you are trying to use it as a spritesheet/character sheet, you need to look up the correct format - it's all about the tile size and the $ and the ! and the number of rows and columns. However, that means you'll have to add them to your map using events, and if you do too many, you'll end up introducing lag.

Either go to the help file (F1 in the editor) and read about the resource standards, or look at the default ones that come with MV. You've got to set them up like that.

I think you can still use a 384 wide sheet as well - I've got a 384x816 sheet that is working fine.

Back in action to develop the indie game that has been long overdue... Final Fallacy. A game that keeps on giving! The development never ends as the developer thinks to be the smart cookie by coming back and beginning by saying... "Oh bother, this indie game has been long overdue..." How could one resist such? So I was playing with filters and this looked interesting...

Versus the normal look...

Kind of gives a very different feel. :LZSexcite:
To whom ever person or persons who re-did the DS/DS+ asset packs for MV (as in, they are all 48x48, and not just x2 the pixel scale) .... THANK-YOU!!!!!!!!! XwwwwX
