I try to select a sprite but apparently it selects like this.
Does anyone know how to change this? Cause it's really getting on my nerves.
The image size is 91x147.
The spritesheet is part of a unique 2D style thing, and I'm trying so that this appears when you climb down ropes properly and not just walk over the ropes.

Aside from the particular question you have, that sprite is unlikely to work just as it is. All sprites, irrespective of size, need to have 4 rows to correspond with the up, left, right, down directions, even if you never intend to use all 4. The engine will try to divide what you have into those 4 rows, and so will show only a partial image.

It will also try to choose between whether this is a single sprite on its own sheet, or is one of 8 sprites (as in the default set up). Looking at your image, it seems that this is one on its own. However, in order to tell the engine that it is a single, you will need to change your file name to include the symbol $ So your file name should be !$MC Rope.

that would be a different question deserving of its own thread, as this one is now resolved ;)

Back in action to develop the indie game that has been long overdue... Final Fallacy. A game that keeps on giving! The development never ends as the developer thinks to be the smart cookie by coming back and beginning by saying... "Oh bother, this indie game has been long overdue..." How could one resist such? To whom ever person or persons who re-did the DS/DS+ asset packs for MV (as in, they are all 48x48, and not just x2 the pixel scale) .... THANK-YOU!!!!!!!!! XwwwwX
