Hello!

Well, I'm not an experienced JS user, so I use SRD HUD Maker plugin to create a custom UI. I've faced a problem with updating HUD Elements.
Say I have a bar that should appear when a certain switch is on. It does work when:

Event: switch = on.
End event.
Bar appears.

But the thing I need is:

Event: switch = on
Bar appears.
Stuff happens, causing the bar to change.
End event.

It seems that when the event is running, HUD won't update its state. At least that's what I've figured, because my variant doesn't work. Not even with 'parallel' event. So, is there a way to force HUD to update even when the event is running on?

Did you find anything? I have the same problem for a relationship gauge.
Thanks in advance.

if you want to change the bar, you have to tel them too.

like variable 4 max value is 100, value is 30, you want it from red to orange,
than you have to create a 2nd bar, when variable 4 has a vlaue of 30 or more
in order to change.

if you can be a bit more specific in what you want to achieve, I might be able
to help you, while I have a bit complex Actor HUD. and it update correctly.

@ShadowDragon My main point was updating the gauge while in event.

To be more specific, I wanted the gauge to fill as soon as the value changed. Then I remembered, in a previous game I made, I used a gauge for qte and it was working fine.

The error I made was making the hud transparent during event which prevented it from updating until the event was over. So I changed it back to 'show' and it all works fine now.

Thanks for your assistance.

I spoke with hudell and many programmer about the Window_BattleLog class and we all just agreed to pretend this class just doesn't exists lol
I haven't been able to solidify a cohesive plot so dropped out of a game jam but, on a fun note, I pre-ordered MZ today! :LZSwink:
So I just spent the weekend...playing my own game. The one I released last year. Yep you heard that right.
Goal for MZ? None... I'm still curious how to finish my VXA project and how it looks like when it actually finished. Which will take at least another two years. Coming late again to the party.
