RIP Stan Lee. Excelsior!
It's a terrible, cold day. My heart is heavy.
We lost a great mind and huge influence in a lot of our youths.
Indeed, True Believers. He did, however, have a great run, as far as human beings go. Even discounting his incredible success and the creative legacy he left behind, 95 years on this planet, for the most part able bodied and in full possession of his faculties, is about as well as a person can do in a lifetime.
I'm still feeling the blow.
This man was my hero. Spider-Man, Hulk, Iron Man, god knows what else I knew this day would come eventually, seeing as how he was closing in on 100 years old, but the kid in me just didn't want him to leave this planet. When you're a Marvel fan, you undoubtedly think of Stan Lee, and how inspirational he was. The success he helped give Marvel undoubtedly played a part in how fufilling his life was.
And... well, Spideys practically my favorite superhero. I loved reading him as a kid, watching his cartoons and playing the games. I still do now. So, seeing his iconic co-creator finally bite it hits me deeply.
May Stan The Man live on forever <3
Awh that's very sad. RIP Stan Lee.
95 is a great age to make, I'll be lucky if I even make 50!!
Stan Lee, like many great people, touched the world with his incredible talent of making unimaginable, awesome, scary, impossible, unique and cool characters most of which originated from his Marvel comics. I've never actually read a Marvel comic before, I never really liked comics, but I did see many of the Marvel movies. The first one I saw was the original Spider-Man when I was a little girl in the mid 2000s, probably around 2005 or 2007. It doesn't seem right that such a fantastic creator has left our world and left us... What I will say is, Stan Lee inspired me greatly to write my own stories and create my own unique heroes, and villains. He was a legend and as with every great legend... He will be greatly missed but never forgotten.
