Personally, if it's not GBA or older (especially if it's not on the eShop or PSN) then I'm against it.

A game's copyright lasts 75 years after all, meaning there is no legal way of downloading roms. But if a company isn't profiting from a game anymore, then there's no point in protecting it anymore. That's just me. I mostly despise emulation of modern games. I doubt any of our commercial developers on this site would want anyone to pirate there games, even if they become there fan through it.

Agreed, that's what got me into collecting consoles, there's nothing like playing a game with the controller it's designed for while playing it on the console it's programed for.
we can almost play magnavox odyssey games for free

You couldn't pay me to use an original NES controller again. I remember the blisters too vividly.

Blisters? what games did you play?

I haven't had a blister yet on NES. Gamecube on the other hand....

Well, I typically only emulate if the game wasn't translated into English but fans translated it for emulators. Ex. Dragon Quest 3 (android version came out recently with an english version though it ditched the animations), Arabian Nights, Dual Orb 2, Eternal Filena, Emerald Dragon, Inindo, Lennus II, Live-a-Live, Treasures of Rudra, Mystic Ark, Treasure Hunter G, Ancient Magic, Bahamut Lagoon, Mother 3, etc... I could go on. But you get the idea. Some of these are pretty awesome titles with interesting concepts and stories that I would otherwise not get a chance to play outside of emulation.

I am with Fuzzy on the idea that as long as you can purchase the game outside of collector channels, then do that because it supports the devs. Otherwise, I think it's alright. Just my two cents.

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
