SYNOPSIS
Plot:
Frick wakes up from cryogenic sleep into an unrecognizable deserted world with his younger sister nowhere to be found. Instead of experiencing the future he envisaged, he is now being held hostage by a tribe living underground. Nevertheless he remains determined to find his sister no matter the cost.

Join our protagonist in an adventure across a post-apocalyptic world where technology seems to be long forgotten, where people communicate to each other via magical trees and where musical instruments are just as important as swords and shields!

Game features:
  • classic old-school RPG with turn-based random encounters
  • linear storyline of about 8-10 hours combined with optional side quests
  • overworld map with multiple shelters, shrines and caves (dungeons)
  • twelve playable characters, each bringing their own fighting style to the party
  • choose a combination of brute force weaponry and magic to defeat nasty enemies

Good evening friend. Since today is the celebration of music I felt this post need a reply. Your game has an interesting plot and you have very good ideas. Did you design the monsters yourself, they are very nice but don't forget your highlight next time. Please keep up the good work. thumbs up for you!

I'm glad you enjoyed the game! Yes, monsters are indeed my hopeless attempts at drawing :)... I'm not sure I understand what do you mean by "highlight" though?

Thanks for kind words, I'll do my best to improve in the future so any feedback is appreciated (suggestions/bug reports/annoyances/difficulty problems...).

oh hello again dear friend. I can tell you like monster design. my favorite illustrator is Leiji Matsumoto, and game character design is yoshitaka tamaki they are my very like. I am not an expert neither but I can share my knowledge by sharing these two pictures with you.
skullori.pngskull.png
skullori.png The first one is a skull I made. It is similar like you did but in pixel without light, it contains only the shape of the object which is the skull.
skull.png The second one is same image I just added light to give it a form. To understand, please feel free to download it and zoom the picture as its in a 24px grid small. I used simple 4 colors pallet but you can add one more light or two.

This on is an example how you can easily animate the object while it has few colors without the need to distorch it. Dont need to draw an object as a whole but part by part like head hands body legs the add them together in the final project to make a great monster. You can become very good with practice. please keep it up don't ever discourage.

Yay, now back in action Happy Christmas time, coming back!

Back in action to develop the indie game that has been long overdue... Final Fallacy. A game that keeps on giving! The development never ends as the developer thinks to be the smart cookie by coming back and beginning by saying... "Oh bother, this indie game has been long overdue..." How could one resist such? No-one c
So I was playing with filters and this looked interesting...

Versus the normal look...

Kind of gives a very different feel. :LZSexcite:
