Hi. So I'm working on a city builder type of game. I'm wondering how I could make it so I could build houses/Buildings like it is done in Stardew valley.
(With common events or scripts)
I'm wondering:
-How to make all the pixels in the event impassable (at the moment only the pixels within the actual event will be marked as "Same as characters" the rest is usually in front.)
-How to make it so some tiles cannot be built on
-How I can tell the game how many tiles the building covers
Also attached the test building I've been using..
This is what I mean by the building system in SDV:
You'll notice that some tiles go red when the building is over a tile that cannot be built on
