Synopsis :

Tucked away near a remote village, a massive stone tower juts into the sky above. Each year, during the festival of the stars, stories passed down from the village elders tell of the tower reaching up into the stars themselves. Rumors abound, but no villager has ever beheld the inside of the tower.

Curious of the rumors, Yula, a young girl of the village, wishes to uncover the mystery of the tower once and for all.

The night before the festival, guided by the voice of a familiar apparition and the aide of her friend Haley, Yula ventures forth, not knowing the adventure that awaits her ahead.

Tried the demo. Interesting idea. Very cute pixel graphics! And the music fits the theme well. Here are some random comments:

*When the characters talk it looks kind of annoying when a word starts at the end of the box boundary and then jumps to the next line when it doesn't fit
*When hitting button to make the text go faster it skips the whole dialogue box
*I think the dialogue box / font / text size could be somehow improved...can't give any specific ideas though
*The character transfers between screens can be kind of "jumpy" at times
*I think the light moves in too big increments when pressing q/w - makes it kind of annoying trying to direct it
*Am I supposed to be able to double jump (happens if I press jump again in air at the correct moment and also when pressing forward during jump at the right time and then jump again)
*I guess it's a design choice that if I walk to one side of the map I come out of the other? But then I think it's kind of annoying if there are maps where I fall out the stage when doing that and have to jump to reach the other side
*Maybe the character could have little wait times between doing that hand flapping motion...just my opinion though

I reached puzzle 4, I think, and then gave up. It was somehow way too easy to drop those boxes/balls you are supposed to move off the stage and have to start over. For me it started to feel more annoying than a challenge. The movable objects move quite a lot/fast from a strike of light. I would personally maybe make the difficulty curve a little more gentle. Or maybe I just failed to realize what I was supposed to do on that stage (shine the invisible platforms and then try to drop that cube and ball on them?)

Anyway, good luck with the project!
