Starting an actor injured

I am using this HUD

I have gone into the database and changed the starting actor MP and HP to the values I want.  However, I would like to start off the actor with less than max HP and MP. For example, the max HP is 50 and I would like to start them off at 25 so that the HUD shows the shows the HP bar half full.

However, I can't find a way to do this in the database. Do I need to create an invisible event that in effect injures the actor behind the scene?

I think you'd need to... possibly do it on a parallel process event on the initial map just so it runs before the map actually shows then simply erase/switch pages afterwards...

Hmmm. My issue is that I cannot seem to place an event on the same tile as the starting location. If I right-click on the tile and click "create event" nothing happens.  Is that a bug or a feature?

Why do you even need to put it on that same tile??? You can put it anywhere on the map, set it to parallel process or autorun and ur good to go

 Incorrect assumption on my part.

It's working now with the aid of a self-switch so this thread can now be closed. Thanks Engr. Shana.

so hopefully tomorrow i get to go home from the hospital i've been here for 5 days already and it's driving me mad. I miss my family like crazy but at least I get to use my own toiletries and my own clothes. My mom is coming to visit soon i can't wait to see her cause i miss her the most. :kaojoy:

Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
