First of all this project will take about two years to make I already have 90% of the story and characters down and also somebody to draw the characters and sprites as I see fit. Now I am looking to work on actually putting this game together but I need some help. First up is the battle system I want a system geared toward a more Final Fantasy Tactics battle system with an advanced array of options such as throwing weapons (Shuriken, Kunai) to blunt weapons like a sword. I am still learning on coading and I am not very good at this time but as a quick learner I do expect to have it down with a little help.
Secondly cut scenes are going to be a huge part of this game I will need a cut scene list that will add anything from attacks to straight up battle. I plan to make cut scenes sort of a regular thing since story is to play a big part here.
Last but not least what could I do to actually represent throwing or sword fighting in a cut scene? Do I actually give the sprites swords at different angles in such when making them as well as the standard or is there soemthing simpler?
