Starting script?

I wanna make it so that when the game starts, it runs the script that i've made. However...

When i try to set my player there, i can't. Is there a way to fix this or something? I'm kinda new.

Are you talking about an event or a script?


In both cases, set an event to autorun and if you want to start a script, call that script from the event.

Thanks! It was an event, not script.

Either way, i set it the event to autorun and it works now.

Would be good to get familiar with the terms. Events and Scripts are both things in RPG Maker, and they are very different things. Using the wrong terms could send us off on a wild goose chase and take longer for you to get the correct answer
