So, basically, I want to cause an actor to receive a 'disoriented' state after they are revived either by item or by battle's end. I know I can induce the disoriented state through revival items, but I'm not sure how to go about this after the end of a battle if knockout doesn't persist.

Any insight? Am I overlooking an obvious plugin feature? I'm so sorry for asking.

The simplest solution to me is to make knockout persist, then have a/the event remove it and replace it with Disoriented. Boss battles and on-map encounters are easy enough to put this into it (just make a common event that does this, then have each event call that event). With random encounters, there's no "good" way to do it, but the easiest I know is making a parallel process that just checks for dead units and does the above.

If you are willing to use plugins, I think Yanfly has one that lets you have a common event called when you try to access the menu or enter an encounter, and that common event can do the above.

Thank you for getting to this so quickly. I’ll check through Yanfly’s plugin. I’m sure it’ll make all of this 100xs simpler.
Didn’t consider making knockout persist and then using a common event that way—thanks for the advice. Less headachey with your methods.

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
