   Ok, I'm going to try and explain this as simply as possible. Basically what I'm trying to do is set up certain states to have a higher chance of being inflicted based upon how high/low the target's tp is. Basically I'd like for the state rate to go up as tp goes down, but only for certain states. Say, at 100 tp there would be a 0% chance of inflicting state A but when tp is only 20 there would be an 80% chance of it being applied. That would work and I think would be the simplest, if possible I'd also like to be able to set a minimum chance of some states that behave this way(because bleeding caused by a sword wound can't really be completely negated no matter how attentive you are to it)

   The reason for this is because I have modified tp in my game a lot already to work as a sort of stamina system for physical attacks in my game. Most physical attacks also have at least one state that they can add (ex. sword skills cause bleeding, blunt weapons damage armor and throw you off balance and staffs/polearms can be used to attempt and trip opponents, causing stun.) So any physical attack will cost stamina, at the same time however I want having low stamina a detriment by making you more vulnerable to the states that can be added through enemy physical attacks... sort of as a way to say that the tireder you are the more an attack will slip through your defenses.

Just beat the last of us 2 last night and starting jedi: fallen order right now, both use unreal engine & when I say i knew 80% of jedi's buttons right away because they were the same buttons as TLOU2 its ridiculous, even the same narrow hallway crawl and barely-made-it jump they do. Unreal Engine is just big budget RPG Maker the way they make games nearly identical at its core lol.
Can someone recommend some fun story-heavy RPGs to me? Coming up with good gameplay is a nightmare! I was thinking of making some gameplay platforming-based, but that doesn't work well in RPG form*. I also was thinking of removing battles, but that would be too much like OneShot. I don't even know how to make good puzzles!
one bad plugin combo later and one of my followers is moonwalking off the screen on his own... I didn't even more yet on the new map lol.
