State Priority

Is a higher priority state will always replace a lower one? If yes, how can we let a character/ enemy has multiple states at the same time?

Characters can have multiple states by default--that's not what "state priority" is referring to. In the vanilla engine, only four state icons can be shown on an actor's status at a time. The state's priority influences whether or not it gets shown there. So, if you have more than four states applied to a single actor, only the four states with the highest priority will be shown.

That is my initial understanding about the state priority until last night I saw the poison state suddenly replaced by another state (that has higher priority value). Need to re-test again.. It may cause by some scripts.

so hopefully tomorrow i get to go home from the hospital i've been here for 5 days already and it's driving me mad. I miss my family like crazy but at least I get to use my own toiletries and my own clothes. My mom is coming to visit soon i can't wait to see her cause i miss her the most. :kaojoy:

Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
