State that increase the movement speed

Hello!


I need some help!


I would like to create a state that increase the hero movement speed for X steps.


I did this:


When the hero use a "speed potion", a common event is activated increasing the hero's movement speed and activating the state.


Then, this state will remain for 12 steps.


But, when the 12 steps ends, and the state ends, I can't return the movement speed to 4 again.


I couldn't find a solution to this. I know it must be easy, but I can't figure out.

when the common event is processed, activate (with a switch) a second common event that is a parallel process for checking if the state is still applied.


If not, switch the parallel process off and change the speed back.


don't forget a wait(5) or so in the parallel process checking the state.


This does not need a plugin

Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
