I'm looking for scripts that would allow:
  • Increasing the duration of individual states based on a stat. Ideally, this would allow an upper cap (no increases to duration above a specific stat value) and separate modifiers for minimum and maximum duration (so a state could go from 3-5 turns to 7-10 turns at optimal stat value)
  • Increasing the chance of inflicting a state based on a stat, varying by individual state and ability.
e.g.:
  • Ability 1 can inflict State A with a base 40% chance, increasing by 0.4% per Magic point. State A has a base duration of 4-6 turns, but at 60 Magic, the duration rises to 7-10 turns.
  • Ability 2 can inflict State A with a set 70% chance, with no modifier for Magic. The duration works the same.
  • Ability 3 can inflict State B with a base 50% chance, increasing by 0.6% per Magic point. State B has a base duration of 3-5 turns, but at 80 Magic, the duration rises to 5-8 turns.
A script that applies a fixed duration for the state between the minimum or maximum value in the editor based on a stat would be an alternative. (e.g. State X lasts for three turns below 30 Magic, scales between 3-7 turns between 30 and 70 Magic, and maxes out at seven turns above 70 Magic.)

Just beat the last of us 2 last night and starting jedi: fallen order right now, both use unreal engine & when I say i knew 80% of jedi's buttons right away because they were the same buttons as TLOU2 its ridiculous, even the same narrow hallway crawl and barely-made-it jump they do. Unreal Engine is just big budget RPG Maker the way they make games nearly identical at its core lol.
