Still looking for a script to steal enemy states. Like a spell steal ability, but it steals enemy buffs.

Has anyone been able to get this to work? I've removed every single other script and it still won't work. Can someone fix this or direct me to something similar?
Did you do all the setup that is required?  The notetags on the skills for example?  Can you give a screenshot of the skill that you have created that you are trying to use to steal the states, and perhaps a screenshot of the skills list in the database as well?

This will let us see if you need to set something else up.

I'm not at my RPGM machine at the moment, but can check when I get home from work tonight to see if I can get it working myself.

I created a skill called spellsteal which has the tags:

<steal allow: 14, 15, 16, 17, 18>

<steal n states: high priority>

I might have it setup wrong.

Instructions say:

# -----------------------------------------------------------------------------

# Skill Notetags - These notetags go in the skill notebox in the database.

# -----------------------------------------------------------------------------

# <steal allow: x, x, x>

# Limits states id that skill can steal. Replace x with state ID.

#

# <steal n states: string>

# Steals n states from target. String can be:

#   last states

#   high priority

#   low priority

Am I missing something? Do I need to add a tag on the enemy skills or the states themselves? Thanks for your time.

RMMV
Your pictures show that you have several scripts that require notetags. Please link them.

But your biggest mistake is probably that your note doesn't say how many states could be stolen. n is usually a placeholder for a number...

I didn't even see the n, in between those. Wow. I tried changing it to various numbers, but the skill keeps saying FAILED when I use it.

<steal 1 states: high priority> didn't work. Say's failed.

The other script calls just ignore. They are completely different and for other things entirely. I've tried running this script in a new project with no other scripts and still couldn't get it to work. IDK though maybe I am doing something wrong? Can you get it to work?

Can someone please create a new project, install that script, and see if you can get it to work. I can't get it to.

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
