Exactly as the title says; it took me a while but I was finally able to pinpoint it to this script, because there would be no script errors, the game would just close as soon as it loads. It doesn't get past the black screen before the title screen appears.
This happens both when I test play and when I'm clicking on the game.exe
A google search only shows 1 mention of this problem and there was no solution.
Here's the fun part, I downloaded a game I know uses the Luna Engine and it loads perfectly fine whether or not I test play it. I figure it's all Steam since the reason the game I downloaded worked and not any of my own is because every game I tried it on prior was located in my RPGVXAce documents folder. Everything outside of that isn't affected. That includes the premade demos inside the dlc folder that contains the Luna Engine.
Is there anything I can do in Steam to stop this from happening? Or what clashes between The updated RPG Maker Ace from Steam and this script?
I hope a scripter who helped create, or uses Luna can tell me why the script would cause this to happen.
Update: Never-mind...I figured it out. I'm so used to copying the premade demos and editing them that I forgot to include the TRGSSX.dll in my project folder. Sorry for wasting your time, and sorry Gaben for blaming Steam.
This is proof I should finally sleep for the day as it's almost 3am here and I didn't sleep the day before. Goodnight everyone.
