Hello all,
This might be a question better suited for the Steam forums, but what the hell, I thought I'd ask here anyway.
I am a pure Linux user. Have been using Arch, then Gentoo.
MV has a native Linux version so it's no issue. However MZ does not. So I have to rely on Steam Proton.
The problem with Steam Proton is that while MZ initially works very well, about ~30 min later it starts slowing down and after about 45 min, it is absolutely unbearable.
Now, my machine is a MacBook Pro 2012, upgraded to 12GB RAM and a 128GB SSD. I have kept my MacOS install, but Catalina is past end-of-life and I would rather not overtly use it because of security risks.
My machine more than meets the minimum requirements. I would hazard a guess that this issue is related to the translation layer insuring compatibility. I would absolutely ditch MacOS if I could figure out that issue.
I love MZ, MacOS not so much...
