There is a different topic on this forum where you can ask for a steam key if you purchased it here.I bought RPG Maker VX Ace on rpgmakerweb.com
Will I be able to use Steam Workshop ?
Please ask in the appropriate thread. There IS one JUST for people who want Steam keys.I guess I need to ask for steam key as well.
I'm kinda exciting for the workshop even if i'm new on this forum.
Yeah, we are looking into adding functionality for encrypted games, but we have to hammer out some details first. Also, if you're having difficulties uploading, perhaps this guide can helpProject upload fails at the moment but nice addition. Still I would prefer proper publishing with encrypted game.
To piggy back on this, please note that it is an EULA violation for another user to gain access to your Steam copy of VX Ace by letting them use your account on their computer. Per the EULA, as written on Steam:To add to someone else's earlier question.
You can download steam VX ace onto multiple computers, but must be logged into steam to use it, so, only one computer can log into VX ace under your credentials. If someone else with steam uses your computer, they can use your copy under their steam credentials if they've bought the program.
Is that a 'per upload' limit, or a 'per user' limit? This will help reduce file sizes, since the limit of 200 MB is kind of small for some games.
It's a per-upload limit. And kind of on the same topic: it's also recommended that you only download one game at a time to prevent time-outs. I made the mistake of subscribing to every one of the 30+ launch titles at once to see what would happenIs that a 'per upload' limit, or a 'per user' limit?
I've just figured out how to do it, but yeah I think clarity in the guide would be really useful. The importer is working fine, it's just a bit confusing. The DLC button on the other hand seems to be broken. Like I said it just opens the last location you imported from :SThe resource importer should be sending you to the resource pack that you have currently selected. If not, we can take a look at that too![]()
Yeah, we'll be sure to amend the Steam Workshop Guide/FAQ on how to import Workshop resources properly. Someone is updating the FAQ as we speak but we'll get a step-by-step process posted soon, as it's rather different than the normal importing process.I've just figured out how to do it, but yeah I think a guide would be really useful.
