So, when I get all moved and settled into my new place, I would like to start work on the next BIG resource bundle! But I am not quite sure which genre I wish to tackle: Steampunk/Wild West or Sci-Fi?
So I turn to you. What would you prefer to see?
Both would include tilesets, character sprites (4 and 8 direction [with 3 and 8 frames of animation sheets], down poses, using new, better-looking animations), animated battlers and static front-view battlers, faces (maybe emo-sets for the 'main' characters?) and various other resources. More focus will be placed on creating more unique poses and animations for monsters and main-type characters, but there will be an abundance of 'NPC' characters as well.
The Steampunk/Wild West set would have materials for both of those genres, both Steam Punk and genuine Wild West. There is enough overlap between the two that most can be used interchangeably, but there will be the inclusion of a lot of Steampunk elements, like a steam carriage, mechanical body parts on some characters, plenty of aviator goggles, and what have you.
The Sci-Fi set would be more space-station/terraformed planet themed (I was thinking of adding some dinosaurs in, ala futuristic Jurassic Park, or like the Garden in FF8 which had the T-Rex). There would be a lot of various Sci-Fi soldiers, robots, and so forth and the tiles would lean more towards a sleeker, maybe more sterile-looking environment for the most part.
So please let me know what you would like to see made next! Thanks!
