Stop counting the playtime

Hello!


My question is, it's possible to stop the playtime count? I made a custom title screen with command events and I don't want the time that you are in the title screen counts as playtime.

You can run this script call at the start of the game (without the quotation marks):


"Graphics.frame_count = 0"


This will reset the playtime to 0.


So, run this with an autorun or parallel process event, and disable the event permanently after that (so it runs only once in the entire game).


That's not exactly "stopping" the playtime, but the end result is the same, right?


Stopping it would require a rewrite of the update method in the Graphics module, which is a hidden class, so it is not recommended, unless someone actually knows what is in that method.

On my journey of character rework: I had this character, she was meant to be just a princess that joins your party. And at long term she was just uninteresting... So I tweaked her to be a rebel agaisn't the royalty before meeting up with the party.

Quick tip for any other ametuer pixel artists! When trying to create a colour palette, enabling Antialiasing can speed up the process of creating different shades! Just place your lightest colour and your darkest colour next to each other, select both pixels, and stretch it out!
