Hello all!

After 6 times of starting my game over, I've decided it's about time to see what's going wrong.
When I start building my game, everything works fine. However, eventually a bug will come up for no apparent reason. Whenever I trigger an event, whether it's autorun, parallel, event touch, action button, or player touch (believe me, I've tested all of these), my character suddenly has the ability to move around willy-nilly as the event is happening, even when text is on the screen. This proceeds to happen during every other event in the game, no matter what it's set to, even if they worked perfectly fine earlier.

Then most probably one of your Plugins broke the engine, because by default the player can not move while an autorun is active.

Post screenshots of your plugin manage to show all plugins and a screenshot of an autorun event that allows moving.

I'm always concerned about plugins, so I have none active.
Attached is also an event-- (I recreated the event as "same as character" as well, and it has the same issue)

What is your MV Version and what is your projects core version?

To check the core Version, go to the project folder, search for a file named rpg_core.js and open it with any text editor (do not doubleclick it!!!!), then read the number in the title line.
No number means 1.0

The two version numbers might or might not be identical, and we need both numbers.

Holy crap, it's cold. Our heat went out this morning and the repair guy won't get the part needed to fix it at least until tomorrow. Had to be now of all times, when we have stuff to do all week and it's the coldest night of November so far.
