Hello,

I am looking for a story writer. I will bassically do ALL the other stuff while you will ONLY write the story.

----------------------------------

I am a VERY bad story writer and I have literally no imagination at all. I am basically letting you choose the genre of the RPG (my only request is that I want the RPG to be medieval). If you want to know anything else, post. I will try to be kind and good to you as possible as I can. You will also be credited very good. If you make any grammar mistakes/errors in the story/dialogues/something I will fix them.

Please just post below my post and I will accept you immedially. Thank you.  :)

hello, can you add more information? Like what kind of genre etc. You're looking for. Example of your works can entice a writer too.

I agree with Archeia: I am interested, but I would like to Know something more about the story you want to be written.

I'm a fairly decent writer, however I primarily write books, and when it comes to games, I tend to make it up as I go along. I would like to hear what you need a writer for, if you're going to give an idea and have them write the storyline, or have them make whatever up and you make it into a game.

Also, speaking as a writer in general, I'd have to say that you'd want to find someone who is capable of writing a good story, who can write it so you can understand what exactly the plot requires, and be able to talk with you in depth about how the final product will be like. With myself, I'd actively help with the game making aspect, but there are a whole slew of things I'd need to ensure before working on a project with someone. (Primarily, knowing how good you are, what all you are capable of, and of course how you translate story into a visual game.)

EDIT: Although... Looking at your profile, and the topics you've made, it makes me a little leery about volunteering, primarily because actions elsewhere make me wonder if you'd make a good working partner. If you can provide good information about your rpg maker strengths and weaknesses and how you'd work with a writer, then I might consider working with you.

Updated first post.
You were asked several times to provide examples of your work, so that the people interested can get an idea about your skills and capacities.
Please either provide those work examples or admit that you're new to the program, so that people can stop asking the same questions again and again.

You stated that you would do everything but storywriting - even in a simple game, that includes mapping, eventing and database input.

If you have mapped before, please give us a screenshot of your best map.

If you have worked with complex events before, either point to the game you did that work or place screenshots of what you consider your best events.

If you worked in the database, please give us a screenshot with examples of that.

Well, I can't make a RPG without a story, so I have no example.

---------

I will try to make a map right now and upload photo of it, since you want a picture of my mapping.

[removed img due to users just spying at the img and not posting anything]

I promise I can do better  :(  .

*sigh* Can I get story writers now...?

Can I suggest you calm down?

No one, absolutely no one, is obliged to post anywhere.  If people want to view your topic, then fine, let them, without screaming at them.

I have to say that, as a writer, your last 3 posts would ensure that I would never dream of working in a team with you, because it appears that you have zero control over your temper and cannot cope with people who do not follow your orders to the letter.  You are doing yourself no favors behaving like this.

@vilius: you need to understand that you are actively driving people away from helping you; in all of your topics. One of your topics (that Shaz gave you a few 'days off' in) I was actually ready to write a step by step guide on how to accomplish your goal, but reading through that thread and seeing your pentiant for impatience an disobeying completely reasonable and well explained forum etiquette multiple times shows people that they don't want to work with you, and that if they did commit to helping you you'd just end up getting yourself banned over something else anyway.

Settle down, give people a reasonable time to help you and instead of screaming/doubleposting in mod reserved text at people that are reading your topic but not posting, how about answering the people that have posted with the information they ask of you so they might consider helping you. You'll accomplish your goal much faster that way. Civility is important, no one here owes you the time of day so why would we bother helping someone who permeates anger and impatience at every turn?

You are a hilarious human being. I will write a story for you now:

Our anti-hero, Vilius, a budding indie developer on a quest to find a great story, sits at a medieval-style PC made of wood and steam and shouts at various NPCs while making up his own forum rules and generally leaving a sour taste in everyone's collective mouth. In the end nothing is accomplished. THE END.

Please read this calmly.

No one wastes an hour just staring at a screen of a topic.  What usually happens is that someone reads a topic and then goes off to do a non-browser activity, but without closing down what they were looking at.  I do it often.  Usually I navigate back to the 'View new content' page before doing non site things, but not always.

No one is spying on you.  No one has the time or interest to spend an hour just watching a page (remember, it's not even going to show new posts during that time), so stop behaving like this.

I am interested. But I will need more information about the story.

We can talk about it in PM.

Sorry you didn't like my story, no need to be rude about it though, I thought it was pretty good for a first attempt. And sorry I was spying on you for an hour, you just seem like a really cool guy and I thought maybe if I read and re-read your wise words I might learn more about how to make friends. :)

Tokumei No: Reminding, I HAVE NO STORY CREATED YET. You write dialogues, story, choose the genre, what the game will be about.

P.S. I am going offline until tomorrow.

Tokumo No: Yes, you are right. You will tell the story to me in PM and I will create a game based on it, then we'll see the result.

I am going offline until tomorrow.
