Hi,

I am experiencing a weird bug/glitch in my game. Please see attached screenshots.

As you can see there is a strange shadow of an object remaining even after the object has been (re)moved, it seems to be cut off by where the shadow tiles are or used to be.

Background: the barrel with wine and plant were in tileset E. After I wanted to shrink the tilesizes I removed E and added these objects to my B tile. After that the glitch appeared.

I have tried putting back the original tile, putting blank tiles from E, clearing the tiles completely etc... nothing seems to help.

Important fact: this only appears in game. NOT in the editor, editor looks totally fine.

The shadow of the tileset sprite appears black at 50% (just like the shadow brush) but is drawn above the characters in game, not under.

I have absolutely NO idea what is going on....

Have you changed the tilesheet size?

It has been shown that the engine reacts in strange ways if your tilesheets are incomplete and not exactly the correct size. So if you have sheets that are not fullsize, make them fullsize by adding transparent parts for unused rows or columns.

What do you mean "after I wanted to shrink the tile sizes"?  How did you do that?

I'm with Andar - if your tile images aren't the right size, that will cause problems and it needs to be fixed.  If it's still showing up after that, the top left B tile is the only correct 'erase' tile to use.

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
How many parameters is 'too many'??
