Hello everyone!

I apologize in advance - I am not an avid RPG Maker, and definitely not used to forum requests. I am an elementary school Grade 5/6 teacher. Last year, I used RPG Maker to make a math game for my students. I stripped away all of the RPG elements (battles, etc.), and used the engine to create a bunch of NPC "Math Monsters" that asked them multiple choice math questions, and then exploded in glorious fashion when they were correct. The goal of the game was to have them save every member of the class from different locations/stages/levels. In the end they saved their teacher (me!) from the final boss. It was an adorable passion project, and they loved it.

I just used the character generator to create all of my students. They looked ridiculous and not at all close to the real deal, but that was part of the charm.

I'd like to do this again this year. I have a student who wears a hijab, and I haven't been able to find an appropriate sprite / face tile. I'm hoping someone may be able to help so that I can properly represent her. I of course can't give too detailed a description of a student, but I can give general details.

Resource Type: Character Sprite, Face

Maker Format: MV

Art Style: The usual RTP

Description: Dark brown skin, no hair showing, any colour hijab, regular modern clothing (e.g. jeans/t-shirt)

I only ever use the walking sprites and one face icon for speech. The face icon is not really as important as the sprite.

A big thank you to anyone who may be able to help. My kids this year know about last year's game and are already asking if I'll make them one at some point this year. I don't want to disappoint.

That's so cool I just had to react.

Unfortunately I can't sprite a cube to save my life but lemme at least bump this request a bit xD

Hope someone picks this up :)

That's adorable. ^_^ I can't do the face graphic because I can't mimic that style, but I can do up the walking sprite generator part. I can probably get it done in the next week, depending on general busyness.

I wonder if it's possible to just make the hijab, as a generator piece, for the walking sprite and the face. Then the character style will match the other sprites.

Please let me know if you want to change clothing or colors, etc.
I pieced this together using the Modern Generator & Sangokushi packs.

MIA's beaten me to the punch but I got Inspired and am 75% done my version so I'll finish it up and turn it into a generator piece anyway. ( Walking sprite only, but that's what I do. )

Okay, generator piece. Went with the most basic hijab just because I figure that's the most versatile. It's just the walking sprite and the variation icon.

Free use, credits to Wayward Martian Graphics, made from scratch so it could also be used in MZ since the heads are the same size.

Aww, thanks so much for this, and for everyone's kind words about this project. This is super helpful, and I'm really appreciative.

I know the kids in my new class will love fighting off the Multiplication Chickens and Perimeter Mummies in their quest to save each other, and now I can properly represent all of my students.

You're all great.

@M.I.A. I removed your sprites because they were made with a paid pack. While the Japanese generator pack does include one, it's against the forum rules to share resources made from paid packs.
OOH YEAH! It was a paid pack! My bad. Clarifying question: Can edits of material from paid packs be posted? I don't know why, but I thought you could post finished things from a paid pack (Generator, specifically), but you could not post the actual components of a paid pack.

EDIT: Nevermind. I re-read the rules. It's clear as day not to post anything made in the Generator. Sorry. :)

No, you can't. This isn't even about the generator - if it's a paid pack, it's licensed for your use only, in your own game. You might be able to edit it, if the pack allows it, but the edit is also only for your own use, in your own game.

asking this here instead of the thread in question to avoid derailing it, but I'm curious; is there a particular reason you'd include a "Terms of Use" for an RPG Maker game? Like, are there multiplayer features for the game you're working on?

I don't understand people sometime. Walking to work today came across someone walking the opposite way in a nice suit, I politely move to the side into the shrubbery so he doesn't have to get his suit dirty and say "good morning" as he passes me, he turns around glaring daggers and asks "why are you talking to me?" like he's bloody offended by me wishing him a good morning or something. Just, why?
