Stutter/lag in map transfers with no fade

Transferring players from map to map using black or white fades works fine. However, if you choose "normal", there is a very jarring stutter which occurs upon moving the player to the new map. Confirmed that others are experiencing this baffling, frustrating problem. If anyone is able to create seamless, no-fade transitions (like VXAce used to have), please let me know! 


This issue has been discussed and dissected here with sadly no solution in sight. It appears to be a genuine bug, so I'm trying to raise the profile of this issue in the hope that we get the right eyeballs on it -- maybe someone has a workaround or plugin that solves this serious issue! ;_;

so hopefully tomorrow i get to go home from the hospital i've been here for 5 days already and it's driving me mad. I miss my family like crazy but at least I get to use my own toiletries and my own clothes. My mom is coming to visit soon i can't wait to see her cause i miss her the most. :kaojoy:

Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
