STV_BeastBook
v1.3

This plugin adds a simple Beast Book to your Game.
With standard Settings this will add a Beast (including all informations)
to the Book by defeating it.


Changelog:
v1.3 - New Visual appearance and Visustella compatible
v1.2 - New Visual appearance and Headers
v1.1 - Added "Traits"
v1.0 - Basic Functionality

Script Commands:
$gameSystem.addBeast(4); ----------- Add/Discover Beast with ID 4.
$gameSystem.removeBeast(6); ------------- Remove Beast with ID 6.
$gameSystem.completeBeastBook(); --------Add/Discover all Beasts.
$gameSystem.clearBeastBook(); ----- Removes all Beasts from Book.


Enemy Note Tags:
<book:no> ------------------ This Beast does not appear in BeastBook


Open Scene Code:
SceneManager.push(Scene_BeastBook);

Is it compatible with sideview enemies? Like show the x frame of the enemy spritesheet.
If not, a good addition would be give the choice to show the enemy animation, like... standing and attack pose, for example.

Just giving ideas! Good work!

Well its not really ported but complete new written :D
I cant say right now but i guess there will be more, yes!

Boi i really hope the animated enemy update happens soon, because I made like 500 svactor enemies.

Nice plug in! A good update to this would be able to add a place in order to put a little lore into the beast book. So you can explain more about the monsters.

What happens if you are using SV Battlers or Dragonbones as Enemy Battlers? Would they still show in the beast book as whatever image I am using as a placeholder for the enemy or no image at all be shown?

For some reason the plugin duplicated the menu choices in VisuStella.

Yea I would like to know more about using dragonbones or any other of your own animations as well. I am trying use dragonbones with this and it does locate it in the book. However, it gives an error image not found even when the image is placed in the right spot. So not sure if it's a compatible issue or something I am doing wrong. If it's a compatible issue then I guess this book right now is only good if you don't plan on adding any new animations to the maker.

Nvm I figured out how to fix my issue.

Yeah, I noticed that as well. Hope it gets corrected. Would also be cool to see and icon added

A plugin with potential, but here we go with visustella...
Hope you can find a way to work with them, else people will cry you a river x,D
Having animated monsters in the monster menu would be very cool, yes ^^

Its working with Visustella Plugins now :)

@GalacticGod Right now you have to use "Placeholder" Graphics for animated SV battlers,
it will only show the enemy pic which is choosen inside the system.

Well for some reason for me, it's not popping showing in the main menu, since I have the menu core on.

Hmm, I'm also having trouble getting the book to show up in the menu, even when turning all other plugins off. Do you have a demo project available with it working? That might be helpful in figuring out how to get it to show up in the menu.

You have to implement it in Menu Core.

The Text you have to put in "JS: Run Code" is -> SceneManager.push(Scene_BeastBook);
