Hey @Skotty TV, not sure why, but my Anti-Virus is preventing me from downloading this as it says there's malware detected. Any ideas?

- sry i have no idea why, droo box has own security so it should be not possible.


Anyway try to create a new ".txt" file, copy the whole Code from the PasteBin link in it, save and rename this file to "STV_BeastBook.js"

EDIT: So went and did that and it's working fine. My computer's been acting wonky since Saturday so it was probably something on my end. Liking it so far, thanks for the plugin!

Hello Skotty,


amazing plugin that is really helping me create the loot-centric RPG I envision. I am a user of Yanfly's many plugins, one of which can change the enemy's size via a notetag. Would it be possible for the beastbook to pick up on the size change and display the monsters accordingly? My giant spider just isn't that scary in the book at 1/10 the size. Of course I could fully resize and replace the pictures, but that's a good amount of work and not incredibly intuitive.

Ok so I grabbed a new version of the plugin and I have found a bug, or at least I think it is a bug. If I use event commands to alter the kill count then the plugin works but if I do a battle then when I go to open the book it crashes and gives me a blank 'Failed to Load:' message.

Basically, I still have the same request I posted in the last thread.


I basically need two things. First of all, I am using this plugin in order to have different difficulties. The problem is, that the Enemy Book does not update if the difficulty changes, which it should do.


The second thing, on the highest difficulty I have 2 versions of each boss. However, I can't add or remove them so they are only visible on that difficulty. The <no book> notetag completely removes them from the Enemy Book with no way to readd them later on. And if I don't remove them I always have hidden enemies because of the 2 versions.

im unsure why im having this issue but anytime i kill a monster it gets added to my book i have the fill behavior set to 3 like it says but still after killing the monster it seems to just be added to the book also another issue i ran into is anytime i check the monster info then try to leave the screen it just gives me a failed to load:


also please note that this was happening when i was on a new project freshly made

I tried what you described like 2 min ago.


Everything is working fine in a new Project :(


Please make sure:


- You have the latest RPG Maker MV Version -> currently 1.3.3


- ReDownload the plugin from the DropBox (maybe something wrong with the first download)


- Do not rename the Plugin itself.


Pls let me know if that worked for you.

Any plans to do something about my problem? A simple yes or no would suffice (or "Ja" or "Nein", fellow German!). Even if you would do nothing about the difficulty thingy, it would be nice to add/remove enemies from the database with a command instead of only being able to do that with the notetag at specific enemies.

@Skotty TV Wow this looks really good! Would it be possible to display the enemy stats in relative terms from A-E? e.g. HP - A , Attack - E, Defense - C, etc.


The thing is right now my game uses leveled enemies (Yanfly's Enemy Levels plug-in) and the actual stats will differ depending on the level of the monster. I am thinking a good solve for this would be to display the stats in relative terms.

Thats strange.... only while fast scrolling? It seems like i cant reproduce this error.


Could you pls give me a screenshot of the console? (F8 when Error occurs)

Do you have an idea behind that? How I can fix this?


It's only happen when I scroll really fast between my 150 monsters, its seem to have problem to quickly load the background so he just assert and crash. Wait time to load before switching in your code?

You can do that I have given in my enemy data 500 monsters but the beast book displays only the first 300 ???
