Suggestion: List of topics waiting for approval

Like the title suggests, I would like to see my list of topics waiting for approval.


Just a list, nothing else, so no possibility of editing it or anything like that.


I have a very slow and unstable internet connection, and because of that, I got issues with posting sometimes. No idea if this happens with a better connection or not.


But the thing is, these problems occur (failure to post without any notification, for example) even when I post a topic which needs to be approved before I can see it. It is not a big issue with normal posts and topics, I can simply reload the page to see if I managed to post it or not, but there is no way for me to check the status of any topics waiting for approval.


This means I have no idea if I should re-post it or not.


I had this thing happening once already. My topic disappeared, and I had no way to check if it exists or not. I even asked a moderator about the status of the problematic topic, who said that my topic went *poof* in the abyss and it can not be found apparently.


And that is the main reason of this suggestion.


Is there a possibility of this happening? *-*

For project forum, you could make it as "all game submissions" just like VXAN did

I honestly don't like the way VXAN, from a mod work standpoint, does it and prefer that authors message me about their project topic. Not only does it make me aware of people's projects, it also helps both parties keep tabs if the topic is following the rules.

I would do that, but I have no idea where could I do it.


It shouldn't be hard to make this available, so it might be worth to send an email their way.

You can find a link to the IPB forums at the bottom right of the page, directly under Forum Rules (where it says Community Forum Software by IP.Board).


Rather than having a specific list for threads/posts waiting for approval, it might be easier to include "waiting for approval" in the Find Content option from someone's profile. That, of course, would make your threads waiting for approval visible to others as well, and would require further mods to be visible only to that user (and moderators/admin). It would probably also require a small mod to prevent you from viewing/editing while it's waiting for approval, but then maybe it would be beneficial to allow that.
