Suikoden (mostly 1 or 2) Remake?? Anyone interested in helping out a n00b create an epic

Okay so I really got into the Suikoden 1 and 2 games and am looking to do kind of a remake but more my own story own characters and own system. Also I'd love to be able to really code like a 360 game and use the triggers on the controller to do minigames and **** but anyway.. as just a side project anyone got any tips or want to work on this?? As far as I know its pretty easy to contribute to **** if 2 or 3 people just get together on skype or something and work on it. I think it's a really interesting concept especially since new consoles are coming out and suikoden is pretty much shut down in the US right now and im an unknown in rural pennsylvania trying to code something with RPG Maker and the only one ive ever used is the RPG Maker for Playstation haha

As I'm sure you can piece together from my name and avatar, I am a total Suikoden fanboy. I grew up with the series and honestly it's my favorite rpg ever. As it would also happen, I am working on a Suikoden side story myself. It is based in the main world (so no mark of the stars crap) but in more modern times. When I am done with the bulk of the animations (aka animations for the runes and skills) I wouldn't mind setting them your way, if you think that would help.

sweet bro going to start my research now. im not that great with the newer rpg maker but i just got a copy and want to try it out and I happened to be messing around with a story and have been writing it down cause I thought it would be cool, like i said id really like to make it with minigames and **** to use the triggers but I guess you can program the mouse too? for like archery and skillshot type things?? im not sure like I said Im nooby but working on it thanks a lot again bro i heard this is a great community forum and im impressed already
