RMMV Sumrdmdde Character Creator-EX: Sprites aren't working.

So, I couldn't find much in the way of help on the internet, so now I've turned here. Sumrdmdde's Character Creator-EX is acting weird. The character creator UI opens up, and I can create a character, with its potential display up; but once I close the creation menu, the only thing that remains is the face sprite. The battle and the overworld sprite sheets are nowhere to be found. I'll provide screenshots to show what I mean:

^As you can see in the display windows, the images exist;

^No overworld sprites present.


^Face Sprite is present.


^No battle sprite is present.

I have no idea what's going wrong here. All of the files were put in img/SumRdmDde/character-creator-ex, and I set the actor to have no default images. Thanks in advance!

Well...it appears that something isn't configured quite right.

A good first step would be to provide a screenshot of your plugin manager.

another option is if you didn't set the character "transparant" on boot,
which should make them visible in order too see the sprite.

you can set eh sprite invisible/visible in the editor/event when you need too.

your YEP_Plugins aren't in the correct order either, and SRD
should go lower in the list.

run the plugin in my spoiler for the order of the yanfly list.
and place SRD around gameplay category in the list to work best.

I've used your nifty plugin to reorder my yanfly plugins to fit the ideal order, and then I went ahead and put all of SRD's plugins under yanfly's. Still no positive results. Only face renders.

So, have you taken some basic troubleshooting steps? If you turn off all plugins except the Character Creator, what happens? That will clue you in as to whether it's a plugin issue at all, or you set something up incorrectly.

If that works, turn back on half of your plugins. If that breaks it, there's a problem with one of those plugins and you narrow it down.

If turning on half of the plugins doesn't break it and it still works, turn them back off and turn on the other half.

Etc...proceed logically.

Ok, so I disabled all of the plugins, minus sumrdmdde's character creator ex and his supertools engine, which character creator needed as a dependency. Interestingly, the overworld sprite has loaded in addition to the face sprite, as shown below:

^There's the face sprite;


^And here is a battle scenario, in which one can see the player's battle sprite is not present. (The shadow where they should be could be seen by the beast's middle finger on the right.)

Update: I just found out which plugin screwed with the overworld sprite - MV3D (which renders the map in 3D.) Plugin order does not effect the outcome - they somehow conflict, and I do not know why.

if it does work with MV3D off as normal and correctly, maybe see if MV3D author
can patch it or create a patch for it to make it to work.
