You can't edit the random face/character, but the rest of the resources are completely open for use. As long as you can use them legally (ex. no copyright issues, no plagiarism or ripped content), and the creators are ok with it, you're welcome to use them.

Sorry but I would like to be sure : does it mean the randomly generated characters must be rtp only or can we use random parts from authorized sources, own creation etc?

Randomly-generated characters must be RTP. The rest -- ex. tiles-- can be anything.

Alright. Here's my submission: Road to the Academy!

I decided to upload through youtube cause instead of having people

download a 3 minute game I thought this would be better.

Surprisingly, I got a decent looking girl after some amount of generates.

This was really fun to make because I've never made a short game before, 

even though I've always wanted to (Personally I like the food scene the

most for some reason).

Well, then could someone help me because I have added parts in my generator and I can't remember if some files are rtp or not. Could someone tell me at which numbers face files stop so I can temporarily remove the non-rtp please?

There are some really funny entries so far! However I'm kinda surprised to see that apart from Monkeysnow and BCJ's entries there isn't that much horror, because the first thing I thought when I saw the competition rules was "Horror game".

I have updated the game with mostly minor edits, dialogue change etc. although it's not enough to warrant another playthrough if you've already finished it.

I think there's a problem with your project. The first link gives me a 404 error and the second link, although working, gives me a game where I cannot see my character.

As it is unencrypted, I can tell that Transparent is ON in the System tab and the Character sheet for the 1st character is set to $Dead1, which is not a complete sprite sheet.

Wow, you're quick! Somehow I had a feeling something was wrong (/this is my first ever game upload so I knew something would go wrong) so I downloaded the game and checked it myself--found out I had forgot to reset everything to standard settings (i.e. not for testing), so I deleted the files.

The Dropbox download should be A-O-K now. I've just downloaded it and am going through the game to double check.

The guy's head appearing when you look at the fireplace: I'm glad it's a sunny day outside or I'll still be shaking!

There's just one little problem (with a fix):

When you leave the inn, the game crashes. I've found that your Common Event "In chase" is still activated at the time and fixed the problem by setting the Switch 16 In Chase to off when you reach the end of the corridor.

Those faces were spooky!

Finally I finished mine. It's a bit longer than 5 minutes (more like 10), but totally worth it. I've playtested it a few times, though there might be a couple of minor bugs here and there.

Here it is. It's called 'Just Face It', and it's basically a small dungeon with just 3 encounters and a bit of a humourous story.
